Wright Park's Future
with your help.
Wright Park is a 20 Acre park in Tacoma's historic Stadium District. It was
donated to the citizens of Tacoma in 1886 by Charles Wright, and has been
a favorite destination since. Metro Parks Tacoma developed a master plan
for this park in conjunction with community members in 2004. In 2005 the
Metro Parks Foundation board voted to adopt the Play and Sprayground
Element of the plan - $2 million project - as its signature park focus for
2006-2008. To learn more, contact Jennifer Gilbert at (253) 305-1071.
