Volunteering to support various projects and programs sponsored by Greater Metro Parks Foundation and Metro Parks Tacoma (MPT) is a great way to meet people and give back to the community.

Volunteering Opportunities

Every year, GMPF needs volunteers to support its major fundraising event, the Because Parks Matter Luncheon. Please contact GMPF if you are interested in volunteering for this event.

In addition, volunteers are needed year-round to take part in Metro Parks Tacoma's programming and other activities. To connect with MPT's volunteer coordinator, please click here.

Company Matching

Please consider volunteering your time - many companies will match the hours you volunteer with a financial contribution. Find out if your company has a volunteer matching program by asking in your Human Resources Department.
