Wright Park

Wright Park is a 20 acre park in Tacoma's historic Stadium District. It was donated to the citizens of Tacoma in 1886 by Charles Wright, and has been a favorite destination since.  The Greater Metro Parks Foundation adopted the Wright Park Play and Sprayground as part of the Zina Linnik Project.  It will include the following:

  • 9,600 sq ft concrete plaza/amphitheater for community gatherings
  • Renovation of an existing building to house the Youth Summer Playground Program room for arts, educational, health and recreational programming at nearby Wright Park
  • New landscaping, picnic tables, benches, and signage
